After getting lash extensions, we want this beauty to last as long as possible. But within a couple of days the lashes may start to fall out, and we are puzzled: the master seemed to do the work well, and we followed the care rules. Let us look at the problem from different angles.
Factors that affect how long lashes last
- First of all — following the care rules, especially in the first 24 hours after the extensions. For how to care for them properly, see the article "Proper care for lash extensions".
- Hormonal background: pregnancy, breastfeeding, menstruation, thyroid conditions. When extensions are done before or during menstruation, the wear time is often shortened.
- The quality of the water we wash with. A high content of chlorine and other substances, though minor, can affect the wear time.
- Factors on the master's side: the quality of the glue and materials, following the technique — no stuck-together lashes, attaching each lash precisely to one of your own.
If your lashes fall out quickly, consider all the factors listed above. Every case is individual — it is worth contacting your master to find out the reasons. Beautiful lashes and pleasant wear to you!
